Mini SSD for HP Mini

The carrier is not designed for my HP Mini 1000 modely 1154 NR. However, I removed it from the carrier and installed it directly, and it worked. I bought the netbook at a garage sale, the seller reported no information. It did not have a hard drive. I booted it to linux from the SD card slot and it worked, so I knew the hardware was good. When I installed the SSD it booted right to windows. Windows was already on it. Apparently it was removed from a netbook that had been working. All functions appear to work. I plan to install portable apps for my software, and use this for my portable functions.

RadioShack 150-1859 Amplified AM/FM Antenna (PL1-3724-150-1859-UG)

Fraudulent advertising by Radio Shack.

This is sold as an amplified AM-FM antenna. The FM part does have an amplifier, and others have reported it works. I was only interested in the AM part, and the AM portion does NOT have an amplifier. All it has is a handful of wraps of magnet wire in about a 5 inch coil. this is connected to the radio by a twin lead feed. If you want an FM amplified antenna this may work for you, but it was still fraudulently advertised by Radio shack.
