Some DIY skills needed to fit but performs adequately
It nicely replaces the original non-soft closing hinges on the wooden loo seat and cover. Basic DIY skills needed to fit and does not operate quite as smoothly as a purpose built soft closer seat. However, for a retro fit it works sufficiently well.

Was initially a DIY project to get the tap working
I installed the tap without connecting up to a hose pipe to test it. Water did not flow through the tap. I had to undo the tap mechanism to release the plunger. Now it is fine.
