Already an all time favorite

In times like these I would never have guessed that a show about two awkward characters combing fields looking for their gold would provided such warmth, comfort and humor. It's such a pleasant and relaxing show and holds up well to repeated viewings. American viewers might be surprised ( I was anyway ) at some of the language the BBC allows, but it adds to the genuineness of the characters. Just an all around wonderful show on so many levels and I hope Lance and Andy have a long run.

Live @ The Old Waldorf

I've purchased at least a half dozen live Dead Boys recordings ( Night of The..., Twistin' On The Devils Fork, Liver Than You'll Ever Be, etc. ) and this one really surprised me. The fact that KSAN broadcast it means that an effort was made to put forth the best sound possible over their airwaves. I think this is the most genuine live recording of The Dead Boys out there. Great 10 song set, feedback, small club, combative banter and no tweaking or sweetening of the final product. Growing up in the Bay Area and listening to KSAN, I can't recall them ever broadcasting a concert that didn't make you feel like you were there and this one is no different.
