compelling read from one of the most experienced pilots who flew from the deck of a Carrier , straight into the action .
Very informative book gets you into the action and understanding of what these brave men had to endure through there time at war , and the precision flying they undertook in what most people would have call an out dated old fashioned machine .
But proved to be one of the most capable and long serving aircraft of the Second World War not only a Torpedo Bomber but a multitask weapons carrying system capable of putting fear into the Axis forces .

Charles Lamb puts you right next to him in his cockpit as they make forays into the unknown against enemies that on paper were superior in number and equipment , but came of worst against the slow but capable Swordfish .
