Underperformed, underwhelmed, and now understand it's not for me.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I really liked the general idea of a propane fogger for varroa management. The speed of the treatments would have really helped even with a limited number of hives. The unit I received had very little control of the torch flame. The valve to control it was extremely sensitive. This made it hard to dial things in with the temperature.
The other area of concern was trying to get the desired dose. You have a number of variables that didn't seem consistent enough to give a reliable or expected dose. You use a hydraulic pump that feeds the fluid into the heat coils before it is vaporized. This pump felt inconsistent in the amount that is sprayed. The solution of alcohol + oxalic acid would crystalize shortly after making it. I followed the instructions carefully and never could get a good solution I was confident was delivering a consistent amount of oxalic acid.
