Great Ebook reader at a Great Price.

What the heck....Ebay's asking me to write a review on the Nook...since it hasn't left my side since I bought it 3 months ago...I figure it's only fair. There are some definite pros....can keep a LOT of books handy. No losing your page...it saves it for you. Easy to read. Pretty good selection of books. A few (very minor) cons...the upper button should be for the page forward...not the page back as BN designed it. Definitely needs a case (doesn't come with one...but I bought one on Ebay for $12 shipped for a great case...just be sure to get the one with a 'pocket' for the bottom of the nook...the ones with the small straps at each corner do allow it to move more). There's freeware out there...makes keeping track of your books very easy (I use Calibre)...and it does convert from various formats (ahem...K**dle...)..so someone who has books in one format, or can only find the e-book in a different format can convert it to your Nook. Considering the refurb unit is almost $60 less than the ahem..competitor and has the full warranty...it's a great Ebay deal. My only problem...I was so impressed I bought the color Nook....but haven't been able to give up the Black and White version to try it out....

Very nice slipper. The soles are a bit slippery on hard floors (but I'm using them at home on carpet, so that's a non-event).
