Great Over-the-Ear Starter for the Money
I am always a bit skeptical when purchasing a lower cost product to go along with a piece of pro gear, but this mic is a good buy for the money. I paired it with an Audio-Technica 2000 series wireless and it sounded better and had as good, if not better, feedback rejection that the lavalier mic the factory supplies with their tie tack system. Gain was almost the same as the factory mic as well. I cannot speak to the durability of this product yet, but I always advise my customers to dedicate one over-the-ear mic per user, so it doesn't get constantly bent up. This will prolong any head worn mics life. I would recommend the CO-3 series as a good starter mic for those who want to try a head worn mic without breaking the bank. You will probably be pleasantly surprised at the smooth frequency response with a mild low end bump and its stable feedback rejection.

Better than the original tank
Fit my 21 year old CCR2000 perfectly. This part has been updated to eliminate the rubber grommet and simply slips over the stud mount. The plastic welds seem to be done properly. Won't know if it leaks until the tank is completely filled this coming winter. I'll add to this review if I have any issues.

Thoughful Redesign
This version is simply designed way better than the OEM version that did not have any ventilation of the alleged 1000 watt amplifier. The original module had literally cooked the power supply filter capacitors The instructions that were supplied were clear and simple to follow. It will take about 10 minutes to replace this module. The DSP section was more than adequate to control this speaker system. It does seem to run a bit warm, but being vented it should outlast the original module which was sealed into the rear chamber of the speaker cabinet with no moving air supply. What was Electro-Voice engineering thinking?
