New LED strip fixed the TV.
While taking the whole TV apart and putting it back together without breaking anything wasn't the easiest job in the world, it was no trouble installing the replacement LED strip. TV started just fine after replacing the LED strip, and has been working fine the last 2 weeks. Before replacing the LED strip, there was a dark area in the lower right corner for a while, then the TV sensed a problem and wouldn't power ANY of the LED's so it was all dark.

Book was just as descfribed. It's nice to have a book with sturdy, thick pages instead of the semi-transparent flimsy sheets most books are made with these days.

Right remote for my stereo; this remote allows me to put it up on a shelf. Very convenient.
It's the exact remote that was supposed to come with my Clearance-priced stereo. Very happy to have it. Thank you.
