Don't buy it.

The author means well but lacks much. He has not written a guide to the Bible but instead share his testimony of recovery and a few Bible references. He boasts that he did not finish treatment and refuses to go to meetings to further his recovery. His failure to interact with others in the fellowship of the program is seen and it is not good. He fails to use inclusive language that is necessary in the addict's life. He does a lot finger pointing at others with the use of "you" language rather "we" and "us" language, which has the appearance of him setting himself above others in recovery. I was sorely disappointed with this book and do not recommend it. The author should take it off the market, go to meetings for a few years to work on his stuff and the rewrite the book.
