UGEARS STEM LAB ARITHMETIC KIT

I hope this company stays in business forever. Great item.

I bought this because I bought so many different types of sliding adding and subtraction devices from E-Bay, and I was going to make one myself, just to make sure I knew how it worked. I think it is wonderful in that is does not use gears, and nothing can wear out. Because of this one, and the others real ones I bought on E-Bay, I learned how to use the 9 bead abacus using complementary numbers for adding and subtracting, and even a way to get negative numbers. I didn't care about the monkey, as it was mainly to get kids to learn the simple multiplication tables. But the Napier rods with either the sliding adding devices, (or this cute little thing made out of wood), with the slide rules I got on E-bay, is exactly what I wanted. People in college also could learn something about the simple mechanics of this marvelous device.

Maze game

Not the best maze game, as the ball is too small to get it moving. Other wooden ones with bigger balls are better

The lens, as usual, are flawless

As I have said repeatedly, all of the convex lens I have ordered from Eisco Labs have been prefect. I use them in optical machines what were designed 1600-1850. These lens are perfect for that. I have no complaints about the lens that I ordered.
