This is a very competitive nitro race engine!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This engine is a very strong, reliable, highly competitive and fast offroad race engine for 1/8 scale Nitro buggy. When the break-in process is done correctly followed with preheating to 220℉ before starting for the first 2 gallons after break in, it will last a very long time and give you perfect tune without having to touch needles gallon after gallon. If you do have to tune, the btta has a very soft change of tune reaction. I have personal accounts of running 14 gallon old btta engines still not leaking out of front bearing or backplate or head button. There are a few different btta versions being sold having differences of ceramic bearing or not, but they all have concaved "team" cylinder head that is extra hardened for longevity.. the dual steel bearing version is very very much worth the money and as I said if treated properly it will be very satisfying it has tons of power in the low end so you will not need a pipe to help that. The recommended pipes are the Novarossi EFRA 9901 and 2096, the recommended header is the Novarossi 41021, the recommended turbo plug is the Novarossi c6tgc and the recommended fuel is 25% race blend(11% oil). I recommend a pipe that helps mid and upper range as the engine has plenty of low end burst on its own. It does have linear power throughtout its powerband when equipped with proper header and a midrange pipe. Its labeled as a "World Champ" and it damn sure acts like one!!

These are great shock socks! Awesome Price!
I have had 2 sets of these shock socks on both of my 1/8 scale 4wd buggies and they have been great! Able to take them off and wash them in dishwasher in a netted bag, makes them bright and clean again! Great material and color choices to customize your rc vehicle even more!
