Sansa Express - really neat.
This is a tiny little player, only half the width of the Fuze, but a little thicker. What I love is the fact that it has an eyelet and a neck cord so you can wear it round your neck, and it's so small that it is very discreet under a jumper or tucked into your shirt so it doesn't bounce around if you're jogging. This is one of the earlier models and extremely easy to use, but discontinued now, so not easy to find, alas. It's ideal for anyone who is not too technically minded, as there is a separate volume control and very simple menus. Also there doesn't seem to be the issue of switching modes. It's just simple drag & drop, and delete as needed.
It only has 1Gb of internal memory, but you can add up to 2Gb on a micro SD card. That is the maximum size of card it can take, but I find 3Gb plenty for my needs. The sound quality is pretty good, although I am no expert. I just love it.

Everything I want in a player
This is a much bigger player than the clip and bigger even than the Fuze but I don't mind that. It feels sturdy and the controls are easy to navigate. I couldn't see any way to add a strap which I think you need unless you have a breast pocket to put it in, but I got a lovey crystal case from Suntekstore for less than £2 that protects it completely and it came with a strap and a little hole to attach it, so now I am perfectly kitted out. It does everything I need and I love it. 16Gb is plenty for me but it has an expansion slot so virtually unlimited, which means you can convert CDs to really high quality MP3 and not worry about capacity.

Does the job
Put it in the slot and started transferring files to it. No problem. Seems fine to me.
