The flasher looks taller than it is. It is just slightly shorter than the original equipment. There is a slight delay when you first activate the flasher with the turn signal stalk, but then starts a normal flash rhythm. It got rid of the hyper flashing because of the LED bulbs.

A must have for working in the engine bay
I have a Vetronix tool and it runs off the battery when I am using the probes for voltage, resistance, and other tests. Having this allows me use the car battery, extending the time I can be under the hood without having to stop and charge.
