Info
I'm the family's archivist, not yet its stud. Since joining ebay in 2005, I've discovered there a postcard photograph from 1907 taken in front of my grandparents' house in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; a 1910 velvet hat w/ the family store's label intact; a 1912 bank prospectus w/ a full-page portrait of my granduncle as 2nd vice-president; a wedding portrait of my grandmother from 1912; a portrait of my grandfather's younger brother who fled to Rhode Island in 1900; an album cover of a fashion model lookalike of Mom; and just today, a poster of a lookalike of Dad as a sailor in a 1950s French film--each completely unknown to us before.

The Best Stoneware Money Can Buy
When you serve on Pfaltzgraff "Flower Garden", you send a message to your family and friends: I appreciate quality and won't settle for anything less. The pattern is timeless and ageless; man has been cultivating the soil for at least 12,000 years, and serving with and washing "Flower Garden" places you in that civilized and civilizing tradition. These dishes can be washed, microwaved, exposed to the oven, and will never look a day older than the day they were purchased. Let them slip out of your soapy hands in the sink (as I did last night) and chances are they won't show a scratch much less break. You feel and see the durability of the fire-baked clay they are made with and know you're cooking and serving on the best stoneware money can buy. Keep your eyes out for a set on sale at a nearby thrift shop as I did and for not much more than the price of a soap and water scrubbing, you'll have an heirloom dishware set that generations of your family will happily use and treasure.

C&S was the first to draw parallels between early physiological and later character development of historical figures. Children pass through 8 cycles of development that grow from 4 embryo-physiological stages--incorporative, intrusive, eliminative, and integrative. Emphasis on stages differentiate character. Erikson's narrative of his therapy with 2 children is the book's strength. Sections on the Sioux, Yurok, Americans, Hitler, & Gorky could relate more tightly to the central theory.

A truly great bargain in a laptop
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is my first laptop, so I cannot compare the machine to others I've used. But with 1.8gHz and a gig of RAM, this machine is as powerful as any I would ever want--in fact, really still too quick for my large hands, which are accustomed to the roomy accomodability of my desktop with its mouse. The laptop's old battery needs to be replaced and the hard drive expanded from its current 20gigs, but really, why spend a lot of money when Wayne will provide you with a great laptop for $100-$150? Doesn't make sense to spend more.
