Streamlight nailed it!
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Streamlight nailed it with this headlamp. I have lived off grid for over six years and use a headlamp every day. Often for as many as 16 hours. For 95%, at least, of your headlamp lighting needs you do NOT need a headlamp that will illuminate a whole football field. 14.5 Lumens on high is plenty of light if you need a lot of light. And on the low setting of 6 Lumens this is actually PLENTY of light for 95% of what you need light for and the run-time is great. Another very important feature of this headlamp is the built in circuitry that boosts battery voltage to keep light output constant. This headlamp will get every bit of juice out of those batteries. Runs fine on lithium rechargeable batteries as well. Rugged, lightweight, tough polycarbonate construction, weatherproof, energy efficient ..... altogether an ideal choice for day to day use or ultralight camping. One modification I did was to remove clip that allows you to attach it to a hat. I was uncomfortable to wear for long periods until I did this. Afterward, easy to wear for hours at a time. Leave that clip if you intend to use it as a cap light but remove if primary use is as a headlamp.

Solid knife, solid value
Well thought out. Opens with authority. Unusual features and good overall design. Double lock mechanism locks knife solidly in open or closed position. Took knife apart to examine and this is a better lock mechanism than Lake and Walked Knife Safety used on CRKT knives.

Best EDC flashlight on the planet!
This review by a lifelong flashlight nut. Title just about says it all. Built in voltage boosting circuitry so you have 16 hours of full brightness. Flashlight then goes into 'moon' mode so you still have several more hours of usable light. The focus of the beam is just about perfect. Using a fuel injector hose clamp from Advance Auto and a small piece of stainless bent into an L shape and the bracket from a cheap headlamp I made a headlamp adapter for this flashlight so it does a double duty as a an ultralight headlamp. I live off grid and use headlamps on a daily basis. This little headlamp/adapter creation is one of the most comfortable headlamps I have ever worn.
For EDC or ultralight camping this is THE flashlight. This is one of my favorite gifts to people as well. I usually have an extra one on hand to give as a gift.
This flashlight is a super bargain at current selling price. Only a few short years back flashlight aficionados would have spent over one hundred dollars for such a flashlight!
