One of the great masterpieces in literature!
Beautifully written and possibly life altering. This book has been long , but shouldn't be, forgotten. Great historical detail of the lives of the Romans, Jews, and Christians. The last third of the book was riveting and made me cry (only one other book has ever affected me like that).

Historical Gem!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The "John Adams" mini-series is one of the most engaging historical dramas that has ever been produced and follows the book, "John Adams" by David McCullough, very well. The acting is brilliant, the sets are remarkable in historical accuracy, and I really enjoyed the music. The story of John and Abigail deserved to be told in such a wonderful production!

the author of the book this film is based on, tells his story of courage, hope, and faith in the face of barbarism.
