Painfully honest account of the relationship of a son and his parents
A well-written account of the author's relationship with his parents and their relationship with each other. Anyone who has dealt with the impacts of ageing on their parents or who has been impacted upon by their less-than-perfect relationship should find much that resonates within these pages alongside insightful observations, humour and sadness.

Light, stylish and practical
Ortlieb bags are pricey, so I was delighted to find this at a good price on eBay. My only gripe with the bag is that the fixing system results in quite a bit of rattling. Otherwise it is roomy without being too large (e.g. Altura Urban 17, which is like a suitcase) with practical internal pockets, etc. Very pleased!

Sebaldian!
Great documentary for fans of Sebald and in particular his book, 'The Rings of Saturn'. Captures the mood of the book beautifully!
