Defective product that I managed to fix.
The unit was sold as used, but clearly was not. Which could only mean someone returned it. I found out why they returned it: it wouldn't work. You could hear the relay click, but no resulting output would occur. Figuring it was worth a try, I soldered a jumper wire to the relay. It worked. So all is well that ends well, but still, it should not have been offered for resale. However, who knows what actually led to that, since the first buyer may have not been honest.

Eye in the Sky by Alan Parsons Project
The title track is probably the biggest APP hit in the USA and the one that heralded some of their best work. Also a range of wonderful pieces like Psychobabble, and Old and Wise, give the entire album an absolute "must have" status for all APP followers.
