Sergio Leone's "Once Upon a Time in America" (DVD, 1984) Special Edition 2 Disc

An unimaginative attemt to correlate the title of a very poor movie with something of real quality.

Despite all the hype and the good reviews from the film buffs, I found it not to be a patch on 'The Godfather' trilogy which it was trying to emulate and its 'arty' to-ing and fro-ing proved to be nothing but a confusing distraction. Even its title was a pathetic attempt to take something from that.. fantastic Western 'Once upon Time in the West'. - I attemted to watch most of it before deciding that I had far better things to do, and slinging it in the bin! - Some people might like it though. (Perhaps it's just me!)

A Great Birthday Card - (Slightly modified).

I was very pleased with this card, it was for a Model Railway Engineer. - I was able to enhanace it with a self-adhesive silver '90" for his special day. Although the same card was available either with or without various numbers, they were all green. It now looks so much better in silver as it now exactly matches the 'Happy Birthday' lettering.
