CHESKY ROCKS AGAIN!!!
I recieved this disc as a gift. When we sat down to listed to this on a modest surround system the systems performance SOARED!(as never before... eyes WIDE.) huh! A little while later I plugged it in to my reference system... no surprises, CHESKY ROCKS AGAIN!!! For the folks who've never listened to a recording who's mikes, cables, recording board have an attention to detail and a minimalist approach, and a recorder having been optimized to record the natural beauty of the music you're in for a treat. No gain riding, no compression just set things properly and go. WOW! I've long been a fan of the recordings by chesky. Vinal or disc these recordings will be amongst the BEST recorded in your collection guaranteed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
