Jinhao 559 Transparent Fountain Pen
I bought 6 of these for myself and for gifts. I love it and so do the people I gave it to. For the price, this is an excellent buy. I do recommend these pens.

Best fountain pen I own
I have been using this pen everyday, all day, for over a year. Balance is great, it's beautiful to look at and easy to add ink. I like this pen so much that I purchased one exactly like mine for a friend who is graduating from high school and has developed a real love for fountain pens. I think he will love it as much as I do. This pen never skips, but it does need to be capped when not being used for even just a few minutes. The one down side of this pen is that it does not come with a converter - just a black cartridge. If you are like me and want this pen for the color, black ink is not very appealing. Pilot iroshizuku asa gao ink is a very close match to the pen color. If you are looking for a beautiful, hard working pen, this will be a great one to try.
