Actually heats your entire body.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I've worn other types of 12v heated clothing for many years, but even though they were good, they just stopped working after about one or two seasons. Te highest probability is that a heating filament broke after bending one too many times. The Gerbing that I use has a heating panel each at the left and right chest, and a larger panel on the back, all of which seem to be supplied by a very well-oriented, electrical supply wire, which allows for pivoting instead of bending. My original Gerbing is still going strong after two other branded 12v vests have been purchased, and stopped working. So, the Gerbing is much more efficient, with more heat, and lasts longer. An "Extra-Small" size fits a 40-inch chest.
