Troma's greatest work for my money
A wild, gory and totally un-PC look behind the scenes of Troma is a lovingly created one. Every gag in this film is dynamite (for those fans who expect it). Its a blast! Dammit Troma! We need a new release! A Blu-ray!!

Finally in my possession and it's awesome!
Been hunting for this film since I first fell in love with the work of Don Coscarelli over ten years ago and it was definitely worth the wait.
Shame this film is not more widely available but until a new release comes along this Anchor Bay DVD will have to suffice and its hardly a lost battle in that sense. Picture is in relative high quality, especially for a 2005 DVD release, and it's even got bonus features! While the making of featurette is rather light, it does have interviews with most of the major players involved. The real jewel of the extras is definitely the commentary track with director Coscarelli, co-producer Paul Pepperman and actor Michael Baldwin (both of whom went on to collaborate with Coscarelli on Phantasm). Definitely worth picking up if you're apt to complete your Coscarelli collection or if you just want a cool, little film that captures the simplicity and fun of growing up in a pre digital age like the 1970s.
