Ruger MKIV mags

These magazines are much better than the blue steel. The nickel finish is much less prone to rust and corrosion. Failure to feed is nonexistent so far after approximately 1000 rounds.

Omega Z03

I have used this reel for years and it is a great reel. 6 ball bearings for a smooth retrieve, and it will throw a mile! All metal so it will last almost indefinitely. Brass gears so with a little maintenance and care you will have a reel for a long time. I have used my original Omega Z03 for bass, catfish and pan fish. It will cast a light lure very easily as long as you are using light line. It comes with a spare line spool so changing line weight is very quick. The retrieve ratio is a little slow (2.9:1). If you are going to us it for any lure that is fished slow it will work great but for lures that require fast retrieve (buzz bait) although it will work, you just have to crank the handle a little faster. I made this purchase not to replace the original reel but to add another one to my fishing equipment.
