A Car Guys best friend!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I saw this movie at the theater when released. There was a double feature with "Cannonball" (David Carradine) as the opener. Both movies were fun to watch and over the years have been hard to come by. Now both are on DVD. Lots of fast muscle cars and plenty of vintage Las Vegas scenes give Corvette Summer a nastalgic feeling that takes me back to the 70's. I doubt anyone who is new to either movie would appreciate it as us old timers. A few months ago, the original builder of the Vette in the movie was selling custom parts to build your own replica(or he could build one for you) on ebay.

Heavy Rain is a heavy hitter!
Heavy Rain is like being injected right into a suspense thriller movie that escalates as you play. With the FBI character it even given an X-Files vibe at times. Although the game is not particularly long, the story can go a few different ways so there is some inherent replay value but not enough to pay more than about 25.00 for. Heavy Rain has excellent sound and graphics and be prepared for a massive download update required when you stick it in your PS3 as to was 90 minutes! I do recommend this game to anyone over 18.

Cannonball DVD
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I saw this movie as as double feature with Corvette Summer back in 1978! This movie made me a Trans Am lover for life! This Paul Bartel movie was highly underated! This movie has action, humor, suspense and awsome cars! When I was in high school in the early to mid 80's, I mentioned this movie to other "car buff" friends of mine and none of them had ever heard of "Cannanball". They always though I was talking about Cannonball Run or Gumball Rally. I can't even sit through Cannonball Run as it was soooooooo lame. Luckily Cannonball made it to DVD so I can finally prove this movie not only existed, but that I didn't imagine the whole thing! One of the best car movies made in this erra and deservs much more credit!
