SPOT ON DEPICTION OF AN AMERICAN ICON
This DVD is a winner if you're a fan of Woody Guthrie, David Carradine or are just interested in a somber period of American history that is starting to mirror the present. The photography is moody and evocative of the depression/dustbowl era and David Carradine's acting and singing/playing make the experience all the more enjoyable. This movie is a definate must see.

Does it's job
Actually, I would give it 3 1/2 stars if possible as I wish that it were a bit sturdier. It's very light in weight but simple to use and does the work it's intended for. I can't get too excited about a vac brush. LOL!

BUY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!
I may be prejudiced because my father-in-law worked with Jimmy in the '60's and '70's when they were both teachers at the NYC Jr. H.S. in Chinatown, but this is a fantastic book. Not only is it an easy to follow cookbook filled with wonderful, easy to follow recipes, but there are reminiscences and general information that are very entertaining and helpful. For instance, he tells you a few words in Chinese that will get you an authentic version of your dish instead of the Americanized version. Bear in mind when this was written (1968) so there may be some ingredients, such as MSG, that you won't be using but you can work around that. All in all I can't recommend this book highly enough. This is my second copy as my 50 year old autographed original was confiscated by my daughter. LOL!
