I have repeatedly tried to make this item work by following the directions found on the internet (none came with it) but have yet to make it give forth any sound. Yes, I am using ear buds/headphones designed for use with this type of unit. It most likely will end up in the trash can.

What I expected
I am very well pleased with this item and would recommend it to anyone needing Canon ink replacement cartridges. They are easy to install and produce a nice sharp printout. The only thing that I wish could be changed is that the supplier would offer set without the black ink as I do a lot of color printing and have lots of blank ink cartridges left over. Yes, I would recommend them to anyone as it is an exceptional good buy.
