A HUGE laptop, but that doesn't bother you, it's a solid performer.

Overall first impressions: decent quality laptop. good screen, very fast with i7 chip, SSD and 16GB RAM. USB C is nice to have too, as is the SD card reader. The main con is that this is laptop is HUGE and heavy. The 15 inch screen kind of requires a large form-factor, but Lenovo could have worked on the design to shrink this device. It feels more like a luggable desktop PC than a laptop. Also not fond of the very non-standard keyboard layout, the very fiddly touch pad, and the lack of direct DVI or even VGA outputs (a USB dongle is needed). Having a battery which is not user replaceable is also something I don't like. The battery might last for 5 years, but then again it may only last for one year. If you want to replace it, you will have to take apart the whole laptop yourself and go hunting (hopefully successfully) for the right battery on eBay, or send the whole laptop in to Lenovo. This could potentially be a real pain.
