Very disappointed
I've ordered many, MANY used books so I have an idea what I'm getting into when I place an order for a used book. Neither was "All the Dogs of My Life" promoted as a library copy nor in large print. Had it been, I wouldn't have ordered it. Not only was it a library book in large print but it was a mess! There were stickers inside and out, the cover was dirty, there was all kinds of writing on the inside covers. Thankfully I have some practice when it comes to cleaning up old books, otherwise I would not have wanted to read this edition or put it on my book case. I'm still not happy with it and as a fan of Elizabeth von Arnim's, I wish I had a nicer copy of the book. I've had such good luck ordering books via Ebay that maybe I've gotten spoiled. The copy is readable; it's just not what I was hoping for.
