Incredible performance and bang for your buck.
I read a lot of reviews before buying this lens. I even went to the local store and tried it out on my camera (a Canon 20d and a Digital Rebel) several times, comparing it along side the higher priced canon L series lenses. I was very impressed with the image quality produced from this lens. It's definitely a large step up from the kit lens. The AF is faster and quieter, and there's no comparing on image quality. Build quality is very nice. It has a nice weight to it and a professional black finish. The included lens hood and case are a nice touch as well.
At half the price of an L series lens, this lens comes extremely close to the same quality.

Great for nextcloud
I bought this to replace a raspberry pi 3 that jdidnt have enough juice to do my home network server needs.
I'm running ubuntu 16.04 on this with 4gb ram and software raid 1 on two 1 terabyte drives. It's running nextcloud on apache and MySQL and using redis for caching and it's working great.
I all have it running pi.hole as a network wide anti-ad dns.
