Strings noticeably sharp up the neck
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I've used D'Addario chrome flat wounds and loved them. Thought I would give these a try. I have never experienced a set of strings like this. I have them tuned in, play a G chord and it sounds terrible. The notes are noticeably sharp even up only 1 fret. A 6th string G is about 3 bars over on my snark. Maybe I just got a bad set, I didn't like the feel of them either. Just ordered another pair of flat rounds.

Big Book Delivers Big
This was purchased for my son in 8th grade band. He was immediately impressed because he knew a lot of the songs and they were 'fun' to play. He was also impressed because the songs were very playable for him without being too easy. He is able to pick the book up and play. He's a pretty good player for his age, meaning that any above average Junior High trumpet player should be able to step right in and play from this book.
This was just what he needed, and I would recommend this book to anyone looking for extra music for their 8th grader to play. This is a great value in my opinion.

Shubb capos are the best

For years I used spring tension capos, but my Ibanez hollow body would quickly go out of tune, mostly because the spring tension was not adjustable, and it pushed the strings down too tightly. I tried a Dunlop capo, because the tension is adjustable, but you had to release the tension to get it off the neck, so it needed to be readjusted each time. Shubb lets you set the tension to exactly what you need. It pops off quickly, and goes back on exactly as it was set. Shubb has a variety of head shapes for various guitar neck radius's and neck styles, and a variety of colors.
Years back I never thought I would spend $20 on a capo. Now I wouldn't use anything else.
If you are into music, Shubb makes the best, most cost effective capos in the industry.
