Did not work
The main problem is that the lead failed to work with either of my canon lenses. On investigation i found that the wrong pins were connected and also the soldering was poor quality. The overly thick wires detached from the pins with minimal hand pressure.

Good value, upgrade by printing its own parts
The printer requires some self assembly using IKEA style illustrated instuctions. This will take around 2 hours and a little stopping to refer to the pictures to fully understand how it should fit together. The different sized screws are sealed in labelled bags so, taking things methodically, it's a simple build.
There is a micro SD card in a USB adaptor which, as I discovered after building the printer, has a video showing you how to build it! It also has some trial files for testing - my advice is to find something simple and useful from somewhere like Thiniverse and print that instead.
You woll need some kind of software to take your *.stl file and translate it into 3D printer *.gcode. I'd recommend Ultimaker Cura which is both free and easy to use though with a great deal of tweaks available once you become adventurous.
There are a lot of shortcomings with the printer but there are also a mass of projects on Thingiverse for printing improvements such as Z-axis steadt and handwheel, LCD panel back cover, micro SD card to SD card conversion, cable clips and storage for the useful little tool kit that comes with the printer.
Bed levelling is a chore at first but becomes easier with practice, don't neglect this as it is the first step to getting a good print. Again auto levelling sensors are avilalbe and the mounts are printable on the printer itself.
For the money it is good value, there are a lot of printable upgrade parts available as free *.stl files and the machine is capable of good prints.

Good value/quality for a basic gigabit switch.
This is a basic switch. It takes cables in the back to link devices and shows if they are connected by lights on the front. The instructions are barely more than what is contained on the above two sentences.
Gut it works, at least for my setup - a mixed Windows / Linux / Android setup with a mix of static and DHCP addresses. A router connects to the internet and the wireless devices, the switch connects the router and the wired devices.
The staus lights flicker when there is activityand are steady green otherwise. There is no means of knowing whether the connected device is 10, 100 or 1000 MBps.
It is small enough to sit on top of an average tower case and is supplied with a mains adapter. It was supplied in a box with an "egg carton" inner tray securely holding the router and psu. No cables otherwise are supplied. The box endured the rigours of the delivery service without damage.
If all you want to do is connect a couple of PCs, a printer and a router then this does the job well
