Interesting look at the beginnings of modern espionage

Some factual errors that historians may pick up on [see Amazon reviews]. As this is NOT a documentary, this is somewhat more excusable. Basically, what you've got here is a very entertaining docudrama with some artistic license taken. GOOD for people interested in the basic history of espionage from a "once over lightly" perspective [Reilly, Ace of Spies, etc...] I was fairly riveted by this - and enjoyed all three episodes... Well-acted and engaging...

Mini Tripod with 5/8-11 thread

This is a GREAT little item which I intend to use with surveyor's compasses - to keep them absolutely level while taking readings. They are neither very bulky nor heavy, and you can quickly adjust the feet to level. You can also quickly retract the balancing points to a "safe" position... I liked the first one so much that I bought a SECOND! This way, I figure I can keep them with their respective compasses, rather than hunting around for one prior to an orienteering or photographic hike; cross-country ski trip; mountain climb - or any of the many other things I do outdoors! [I also collect vintage compasses]
