Very blendable.
Caran d'ache pencils blend very well, unlike some other so called watercolour pencils. I find the 12 pencils cover most of my needs and the colours are really enlivened after wetting.
I use them to add detail to my watercolours, so have not used them for a whole picture yet.

Braun foil cassette
The new cassette was a slightly different design incorporating a smooth oval-shaped section between the blades, which makes the shave lighter.
The shave is smoother and closer (you'd hope so with a new cassette!).
Price was reasonable, too.
