Topps Mars Attacks Heritage Trading Cards Box (2012 case fresh)

This is a 2012 reprint of the original TOPPS Mars Attacks series from 1962 for the 50th anniversary. The 52 card set is printed on vintage looking cardboard stock. This is a Hobby box of 24 packs of cards. Included with the base cards are concept cards, hologram cards and Mars attacks multimedia cards. There are also green and silver parallel cards. The hobby box includes one guaranteed sketch card. You also get a chance at Gold Parallel and Artist signature cards in the hobby boxes. I really like the sketch cards so the Hobby box is a good way to go. I'd recommend this set if you like early Sci-Fi.

"Great way to build up your cards"
This is a retail blaster box of 10 packs of cards and one "hit" card. Usually in these boxes the hit is a manufactured patch or medallion card. But in these boxes you have a chance at a manufactured patch, or a sketch or even an autograph card. Most likely you'll get a patch card but I was lucky to pull a sketch card. These are the retail version of the cards so "hits" are more difficult to get than a hobby box of cards. So this blaster box is a nice way to get a chance at hits that are rarely in retail boxes of cards. You also get 10 packs of 6 cards so it is is a great way to build up your card set. I like the blaster boxes when I try to build up a set of cards. I think it is even cooler that is making autograph and sketch cards available in these boxes.

Brings back memories of old Star Wars cards
This book is a nice coffee table book that goes over the history of the TOPPS Empire Strikes Back cards. This book is filled with images of the actual Empire Strikes Backs cards from the original series. I also have the book of Star Wars-A new hope cards that TOPPS released earlier. I really enjoyed looking through this book If you grew up with the original Star Wars movies, this book brings back memories of cards released back in the day.
