Great neck pickup replacement. More headroom and cleaner tone for active pickup.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I had an EMG 81/85 and found the 81 too compressed, thin and sterile. I moved the neck 85 to the bridge and added the 60A to the neck and the tone opened up to a nice organic, warmer tone with more headroom and cleaner sound. It has a more active feel but still with the bite of an active pickup. More percussive and faster response. Huge difference and worth the investment in the swap.
