Great Lit, Fine Copy
A great piece of literature, full of irony and implications about traditional nineteenth-century values. A book well worth the read. The edition is a most pleasant book with fine illustrations. It is in extremely good condition for its age.

Really Like New
Despite a simple detailing of the book's condition, the book truly is in very good condition and is like new. I am very pleased with the book, since I was trying to match the quality of condition of a sister book. Success! A book in great shape in an edition I wanted and a story I know is a pleasure!

Simply Attractive
This is a very nice edition of Stevenson's Verses. Despite its age and use, it is in very good condition, as it was advertised. The binding remains attractive, and the book was wrapped in protective plastic which allows the binding to be seen. The simplicity of the text allows insight into historical concepts of writings for children compared to twenty-first century concepts of writings for children. As well, the simplicity of binding and printing reflects the apparent intended audience of international readers of English: the words themselves speak a value worthy of their own attention.
