One of the BEST cameras in the world
I traded in my Nikon DSLR years ago for the original Lumix FZ8. Just 6 MP. What a great camera. Had it 5 years. No hesitation in getting the FZ38. The easiest camera in the world to use - menus are obvious - you don't need a manual. The pictures are beyond excellent. You can have as much control as you want. From point and shoot through to the level of control on any DSLR.
I wouldn't dream of owning a different camera.
