2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This kit is so simple to use with reasonably clear instructions that I didn't need a magnifying glass to read. The instructions are not perfect. If you read them all the way through and practice a dry-run rehearsal before doing the repair, you will appreciate how easy a process it actually is.
The kit contains sufficient materials to repair two screen chips. I doubt that the nozzle seal on the special syringe would be effective for more in any case but at the price it is good value for two repairs. I did two repairs on the same day on two separate windscreens so I have no idea how long the resin will last in the bottle after the first use. As it sets in UV light, I presume that if the bottle is kept somewhere dark it may last a while after opening.
The packaging is misleading about the time taken for a repair so this is how long it took me.
1. Preparation: Cleaning and drying the glass, removing loose glass from the chip - 5 minutes
2. Fixing: Fitting the kit and applying resin - 5 minutes
3. Vacuum stage: 10-15 minutes
4. Pressure stage: 20-30 minutes
5. Finishing cure: 15-120 minutes
6. Clean-up: 5 minutes
Allow 1 to 3 hours for a fully cured repair depending on weather conditions.
A sunny day = 1 hour
Overcast day = 2 hours
Dark cloudy day = 3 hours
Night time = Don't bother, the resin wont set!

I use Arctic branded fans whenever I need replacements or building new. These have been installed in a SAS drive bay and are working well at keeping the spinning disc drives cool without being noisy.
