Old school powerhouse
This thing is a beast and will last forever, built like a tank, makes my 10 inch subs rock with excellent, clean hard hits. Also high quality for mids and highs as well. Nice simple electronic crossover function allowing you to handle crossover at the amp if that's how you'd like to set it up.

Excellent gaming laptop at an excellent price
I bought this laptop new in January 2009 and have used it almost every day for work and gaming. It has NEVER locked up on me which is quite a statement for a gaming machine over a 2+ year period. Excellent crossover laptop for me - you absoltely get used to the odd keyboard layout.
While MSI kept the cost low going with the AMD Dual Core QL-62 processor, it plays World of Warcraft, World of Tanks, and Modern Warfare 2, GTR2, and much more very well. It does blow hot air on your right hand if you're using an external mouse but half the time it's cold in the room and I appreciate it keeping my hand warm. The rest of the time you can just bend a piece of paper and deflect the air back and away easily.
The number pad is great for work, glad they fit it in there because it was difficult finding a 15" screen with a number pad along with a decent video card when I bought this. The 9600GT video card eats everything I throw at it with ease, I admit I don't play the games with every quality setting maxed.
I have never had a problem with this machine and have upgraded to a 500GB 7200rpm drive and Windows 64bit Windows 7 (It came stock with 32bit Vista, what were you thinking MSI???). I have also ran 64bit Windows XP on it as well, take your time and use the MSI site to find out your hardware components, and go to the component manufacturer's website to find the drivers if you change operating systems. I have mine using the most up to date nVidia drivers now that I'm not using the MSI-branded operating system that doesn't let you update your nVidia drivers.
The speakers sound a LOT better on 7 and the nVidia audio drivers than on the stock Vista. They sounded comical on Vista, the most accurate review I read is everything sounds like chipmunks haha! Odd the drivers significantly improve the sound - however with all operating systems (64bit 7, 64bit XP, 32bit Vista) the sound output and imaging is excellent when you output to a good set of speakers or headphones. Buy it for portable gaming on the cheap, enjoy it!

Great case
Good looking, understated case. All components installed easily from an older Lian Li case that was slightly too big to fit in the space I needed. No sharp edges inside, great features for future growth like fancy watercooling and second video card. I really like this case because it is a GREAT value and lets me drop my money in the hardware that makes it go faster, instead of just looking faster.
