John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers - Crusade (CD 2007)

I bought this when it came out on vinyl, still play it, still love it. Early Mayall with Mick Taylor, John McVie, Keef Hartley, Chris Mercer, and Rip Kant. It's the post Greeny line up and maintains the standard set by the Bluesbreakers and Hard Road albums, so, three of the finest Mayall albums ever. Stand out track must be 'The Death of J.B. Lenoir'. When the album came out few people in the UK would have heard of J.B.Lenoir and for me that pin points one of the major achievements of John Mayall. He opened eyes, ears, and doors to the pop fed youth of the mid 60's, so for that, and another great album, this 60 something bloke is so very grateful. 40 years on the Blues still resonates in the UK thanks to the likes of John Mayall, and of course Alexis Korner (just had to get that name in).

Not for guitar pedal use, but very well made.

Very good quality product but center positive, so won't work if you want them for a guitar pedal, unless you switch the cables around.
