May carry the Craftsman name but not the same quality
In 2014 I was hit by an F4 tornado that completely destroyed my shop. Tools where scattered across a square mile. I salvaged what I could. So to save money I bought new craftsman tools. When they came in, you could see a difference in the craftsmanship. Compared to the few craftsman vv wrenches I still had, the new series looked and felt cheaper. I’ve had Craftsman tools for over forty years, so I figured out what wrenches where missing and started searching eBay for vintage tools. I’m happy to say that now I’m only missing one wrench and I’ll have all complete vv/va sets. Tools are an investment and if your patience you can find some great deals on eBay.

Vintage Craftsman quality
I took a chance on buying a Chinese made set of Craftsman wrenches only to give them away to a friend. I originally had a set of va series flare nut wrenches but noticed that the 19x21mm wrench was missing. It looked two months before someone listed this wrench for sale. I jumped on it. Other than the quality, the pride of ownership is the real reason I choose this wrench. I remember working with my dad and using the same Craftsman tools as a kid.

Already having problems
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Received jun 20 and already the pressure switch has failed. And now the laser won’t turn on from the combo button. The individual buttons for the laser and the light still work.
