Water for Elephants
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich My book club had chosen Water for Elephants to read. I was able to purchase this copy on eBay for a very reasonable price. The book is very well written and the story captivating. It is presented as the memories of a very old man who had traveled with the circus in his youth. I would reccomend this book to anyone.

A real "Golden Oldie"
I wanted to rent "The List of Adrian Messenger" but couldn't, so I decided to buy it instead. It's well worth it. This is a charming movie- a neat little whodunit that takes place in England. However, you have to be of the generation (as I am) who remember actors such as Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster to fully appreciate this movie. It's tempting to say more, but I don't want to give anything away. I got this mostly for my husband, who has never seen it, as well as myself- I could watch it many more times.
