Inexpensive but good
Does what it was designed to do at a fraction of the cost of the Olympus branded one.

Tamron SP AF 17-35mm f/2.8-4 Di LD AF
I have found the Di version of this lens to work very well with my D70s and D200. The lens is quite sharp, I can't tell the difference in the end result between this lens and my friend's Nikon 17-35 f2.8. If some day I get the full frame Digital Nikon body the lens will work on that as well. Great deal for the difference in money between this and the Nikon version. I think this one is a keeper. :)

Very sharp and fast wide angle zoom.
I have had several of these lenses and since they are out of production people tend to talk me into selling them mine. I have won a couple of our photoclub's Kelby world wide photo walks using this lens. This 17-35mm was made back before digital and so it works on FX and 17mm on the full frame sensor is a very wide lens. I prefer it to the new Nikon 14-24mm that I find a little to wide for my use. So happy to have found another one that is in like new condition. Ebay Rocks! :)
