A comprehensive introduction to the grammar, morphology, syntax, and phonology of the Yiddish language with their historical context.

A well written, scholarly historical account of Yiddish linguistics. Exactly what I was looking for This book is not intended as a textbook for learning how to read and speak Yiddish - there are plenty of those available already.

Not Cream's best work - everything was downhill after Disraeli Gears - but still an enjoyable listen, if only for White Room. This 1998 remastered version is beautifully done.

This is the best retractable leash I've used.

Well designed and constructed - stands up to daily use with a very active 24 pound beagle. The lead pays out and retracts smoothly. The brake button makes it very easy to stop and "reel in" the dog with one hand. The locking button comes in handy when you need to keep the dog on a short leash on a crowded sidewalk or when crossing a busy street. The handle is ergonomic, making it very easy to maintain a secure grip without fatigue or pain in your hand. I prefer the tape style leash to the cord type because it doesn't tend to tangle or knot as easily and also it's less likely to abrade the skin ("rope burn") of the dog or the owner if it happens to get wrapped around a leg, foot, paw or hand. This the best price that I've found for this leash both online and in local shops.
