Risk II CD
This game still works well for one that was made for Windows 95. It gives you the experience of the original board game and has plenty of options for different styles of play.

Nostalgic collection of 80s videos
This VHS tape is a collection of videos by 5 Private Music artists from the mid-1980s. I recall watching all of these back then on New Visions, a very fun but short-lived VH-1 program that featured jazz and new age music and, for part of its run, had a different musician as host each week. This was a great buy for me because I still enjoy the music and remembered these videos for their creativity and terrific camera work. The entries include On The Future Of Aviation by Jerry Goodman, Beauty In Darkness by Patrick O'Hearn, Memories Of Vienna by Eddie Jobson, Water Garden by Sanford Ponder, and Dragon Dance by Lucia Hwong (my favorite -- sonically and visually awesome!). It's a great item for fans of any of these unique musicians.

The best available Beaumont collection
This is a re-release of Charles Beaumont: Selected Stories, a 30-item collection of the best short stories of this brilliant writer perhaps best remembered for his numerous Twilight Zone scripts. Included are five previously unpublished stories and a chapter from the novel The Intruder. Roger Anker's introduction is a detailed biography and fond remembrance of a talent who died far too young (38) and who sounds as fascinating and complex as his imaginative story lines. 17 stories feature introductions by other luminaries including Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson, Harlan Ellison and Robert Bloch who were friends and admirers of Beaumont. But the best thing about this book is the sheer enjoyment of Beaumont's marvelous story-telling ability. Although pegged as a fantasy/sci-fi writer, his settings and styles were diverse, his narratives lively and intense, and his knack for taking us inside the minds and hearts of his characters amazing. Some of these stories are classic horror-fantasy tales, some are poignant character studies, some are whimsical flights of fancy, but all have a distinctive twist or off-center view, and each one is a gem.
