Installation - my experiences and tips
Hello everybody,
bought Nest 3rd in UK (via ebay) and installed in Italy according to the scheme “Low voltage/ dry contact combi boiler”
The electrical installation of the Heat Link and the pairing of the thermostat was extremely easy.
However I have experienced problems with the battery as the battery erratically drained leaving the thermostat offline (H72 error).
The thermostat was updated to the latest software version 5.2-6 but the SW didn’t solve the issue and I was forced to reset the thermostat many times.
Finally I solved using a standard 12V DC power supply in place of the provided USB cable and plug power supply.
So far very satisfied.
