Okay replacement

!!!WARNING!!!....This item is great for housing a broken key but suffers from afew compatability issues I have one of them two button Honda remotes for my 2010 civic well this casing didnt fit the remote internals as advertised, I had to cut some plastic out of this case to get my remote to fit in??? Secondly and most importantly what they don't tell you is if your using a two button remote like I was the transponder signal won't be close enough to be detected via the emobiliser this is because the flip key puts the internals in the center which is to far away from the top of the key!!! I had to buy a separate id48 or id46 ceramic chip and get that coded to make this item work.....I had to glue the chip to the very top of this item on the inside or my emoniliser would ignore this key and not start the engine. So beware make sure you have a transponder chip that can be moved about and isn't connected to your door opening remotes circuit board.

good item does what it says cuts well for a safty blade appliance, would be better if itcould be sharper thou! Item is good value for the price.
