TWO-WAY CHECK VALVE-i.e. fuel won't flow in EITHER direction
Valve is defective. Installed in my boat to replace a cracked and leaking check valve. Length was same as the valve it replaced so it fit perfect. When I tried to fuel my tank, the gas only filled the filler hose and wouldn't go in the tank. Once I verified that I had installed the valve in the proper direction, I took it out. The rubber flapper in the valve would not open in either direction. Do to my circumstances, I needed a really quick fix, so I did not disassemble the valve to try to correct the problem. I simply pushed my fingers through the flapper, tearing out a chuck of rubber as I did so. Did I get the one out of 10,000 that is defective? Or is this a common occurrence? I have already left positive feedback on ebay based on fit and appearance. I trusted I was buying a good product and since the valve is very basic, it did not occur to me to examine the valve before I installed it..

Put on Kubota B2100. Perfect plug & play, 4 minute install. Verdict is out on how long it will last. One half th price of OEM.
