Not as good as it should have been.
I expected closer ties to the original trip: maybe photos of the aurhor at the same locations. Nothing like that. Most of the interviews were boring.

By all means, get one.
One of the greatest albums of the 1980s. Was a huge hit when it came out. CD is in great shape, with no problems.

Love that Brahms!
You can't beat the Illustrated Lives of the great Composers series, and Brahms is one of the best. Book is in good condition: a good value.
